Step 2 CS

The step 2 CS Examination is a different format then either Step 1 or Step 2 CK. This test is designed to test a student’s abilities to be centered on the patient, challenges of diagnosis, preparing the next steps of patient care, and documentation of the interaction. The CS test is comprised of 12 encounters with mock patients lasting 15 minutes each in time, is graded on a strictly pass/fail basis. The cost of Step 2 CS is $1535 USD, rescheduling of CS can cost as much as $1275 USD, other fees for things like score rechecks or additional transcripts will be applied.
